the beautiful letdown

Hahaha just when I was composing my last post, my iTunes was running this song called 'The Beautiful Letdown' by Switchfoot.

This song perfectly qarahs with what I just blogged about.

Jon Foreman has retweeted my tweet hohoho, basically he retweets whatever tweet mentioning Switchfoot, so it's not that precious; I love rare things and not common ones.

So the lyrics goes like this:

"I was trying to fit in,
fit in, until I found out
I don't belong here (I don't belong)
I don't belong here (I don't belong)
I will carry a cross and a song
Where I don't belong
I don't belong
.... ...."

In truth, we are in this world, but NOT OF THE WORLD. - John 15:19

And I am drawn to the title of this song - The Beautiful Letdown.

Holy Spirit just spoke to me that when you think you have failed God in any area of your life, God's love for you never changes and He whispers "My beloved child, if you ever disappoint Me, it will still be a 'beautiful letdown' (not horrible, how gracious is that?!), for you in My eyes are beautiful."
